Tying Up the ‘Trickery Tour with a Special Release

The ‘Boxed’ reissue arrives at the conclusion of the band’s second U.S. tour in support of their seventh studio album, ‘Trickery—a record that has earned rave reviews and solidified Then Comes Silence as a leading force in the modern gothic and post-punk scenes.

“On my final journey, I aim to be prepared and look sharp, which is what this song is about,” says frontman Alex Svenson of Trickery‘s latest single Feel The Cold from ‘Trickery,’ which is now available as a brand-new lyric video.

Watch Feel The Cold via YouTube below.

With its cinematic grandeur, synth-laced textures, and shadowy post-punk aesthetic, ’Trickery’ has drawn comparisons to Joy Division, Bauhaus, Killing Joke, and The Leather Nun, while also pushing the band’s sound into bold new territory.

Featuring singles like Ride Or DieLike A Hammer (featuring Vision Video’s Dusty Gannon), and Stay Strange, the album delivers a masterclass in gothic rock with modern intensity.

Initially gaining traction in Germany, they expanded their reach across Europe, the U.K., and now North America, sharing stages with A Place To Bury Strangers, Chameleons, and Fields Of The Nephilim.

With Alex Svenson’s haunting vocals and driving basslines, Jonas Fransson’s thunderous drumming, and Hugo Zombie’s razor-sharp guitar work, Then Comes Silence continue to push the boundaries of post-punk and gothic rock while staying true to their dark, cinematic roots.
