What’s the fuss about Red Flag?
London’s own feminist feral theatre-punks Twat Union are back, skewering every cringe-worthy moment of modern romance on their razor-sharp new single Red Flag, out now via Alcopop! Records. Think dating disasters set to an earworm riff and a wink of satire—because who hasn’t ignored every warning sign, swiped right anyway, and lived to regret it?
The track is your first taste of their debut EP ‘Don’t Look It In The Eye,’ dropping this Friday. It’s the product of a rehearsal-room lyric jam: the band took turns shouting out their worst dating red flags (some hilariously absurd, others downright dark), then tossed in a Winston Churchill quote “just for good measure.”
