‘Mister Divine’ is hard to pin down periodically; modern themes fuse seamlessly with classic elements. There’s dub, there’s funk, there’s minimalist new wave, there’s jazz, hip hop and lots of electronics. More importantly there’s a lot of soul and warmth in these songs.
