San Antonio’s own Night Ritualz (aka Vincent Guerrero IV) returns with his second full-length album, ‘Time Is A Thief,’ a dark, electrifying journey through synth-heavy introspection, cinematic beats, and raw emotional pulse.
Built around brooding synths and mournful melodies, the album balances visceral intensity with vulnerability, fusing darkwave, EBM, and post-punk into something that’s simultaneously hypnotic and urgent. Guerrero weaves English and Spanish lyrics throughout, adding an extra layer of texture and depth to his already immersive sound.
The album comes on the heels of three standout singles. Most recently, Un Tiro (One Shot) drops with an early ’80s indie-pop twist, contrasting sharply with the industrial-powered Whoreish [STREAM]. The lead single, Brown Skin [STREAM], is a powerful blend of personal storytelling and social commentary, exploring identity, survival, and resilience.
Night Ritualz’s music thrives on movement—both in the body and the mind. Created to amplify Guerrero’s acclaimed live shows, ‘Time Is A Thief’ keeps audiences hooked from the first beat to the last. Club-ready rhythms meet immersive synths, but there’s always a human heartbeat beneath the machinery—he’s mapping survival and identity as much as he is crafting atmosphere.
Influenced by Depeche Mode, Deftones, and At The Drive-In, Night Ritualz has carved out a sound he calls “fuck wave,” blurring lines between genres while maintaining a cinematic, intimate vision. After self-releasing singles in 2023–24, he signed with Metropolis Records before dropping his 2025 debut ‘Night Ritualz’.
Guerrero has spent the last year touring relentlessly, from Texas and California to Mexico, building a devoted fanbase with sold-out shows that are carefully curated visual and sonic journeys. Expanding into festival circuits and international stages, he’s also committed to supporting Latin communities, raising awareness, and participating in community-driven events wherever possible.
