Today, The Balconies released their new music video for their track ‘Kill Count’ which is the lead single from their forthcoming Kill Count EP. The Toronto-based will officially release the Kill Count EP on February 28th via Coalition/Warner. The music video was produced by Anna Junger and directed by Alon Isocianu at Reactiv Pictures.
The 5 song Kill Count EP will be available digitally and physically across Canada on February 28th, 2012. The band will tour in support of the new release with dates in Ontario and the east coast (to be announced soon) before heading to South by Southwest Festival, returning home for Canadian Music Week and performing at Edgefest in the summer.

The Balconies announce upcoming tour dates in support of their new Kill Count EP which is only available through the band at their shows. The Balconies will play a number of shows across Ontario this fall, including support dates with Bedouin Soundclash.
Since they moved to Toronto from their hometown of Ottawa, the band has recorded the Kill Count EP and forthcoming LP with Jon Drew (Tokyo Police Club, The Arkells) at Tiny Apples Studios set for release in 2012. The Kill Count EP features three re-recorded and re-mastered tracks from the band’s debut release (“Serious Bedtime”, “300 Pages”, and “Battle Royale”) along with fan favourites from the Kill Count 7inch (“Kill Count” and “Tiger”). Be sure catch The Balconies on a stage near you this fall!
