London four-piece, Shark Dentist will release their debut single via Camden based record shop label, Ra-Ra Rok Records on the 5th February, 2015.
‘Stranger’, the follow up to the Steve Lamacq favourite and recent cassette release ‘Cut My Self Shaving’, was produced and engineered by Sean Read of The Rockingbirds, and was recorded in London at the Famous Times studio in Homerton. Available digitally and released on limited edition 7″ vinyl, the new single will also feature live favourite ‘Bin Man’ on the flipside.
Still in their teens and emerging from the same South London scene as the likes of Shame, Misty Miller and Fat White Family, the Shark Dentist line up of Grady Steele (Vocals / Guitar), Campbell Baum (Vocals / Guitar), Andrew Spiteri (Bass Guitar) and Jamie Staples (Drums) have a basic DIY contemporary ‘punk’ ethic and the desire to make great music and play as many gigs wherever they can.
One of the most exciting live bands to emerge in the capital over the last twelve months, Shark Dentist finish off a great year with London shows in December. More dates will be announced for 2016 soon.
Live dates:
Dec 9th The Macbeth, London (w/ Adam (Fat White Family) & Shame)
Dec 16th The Victoria, Dalston, London (w/ Blonde Bunny / Phobophobes / Misty Miller)
