Kagoule & Demob Happy announced for second Curtain Call 2016 gig

Curtain Call Kagoule

Nottingham based band, Kagoule, will be the second group invited by Jägermeister to record, rehearse, play and take their next step on London’s Curtain Road, as part of their new initiative ‘Curtain Call’.

Jägermeister’s Curtain Call takes the ‘road to success’ literally, being based in the iconic East London area. Home to some of our favourite labels, Wichita, Bella Union, Secretly Canadian & many more, it’s the perfect location for a new band to take their next step.

Kagoule will be given support to record a brand new track, before playing an intimate Curtain Call 2016 show alongside Demob Happy, in the up close and personal setting of The Old Blue Last on  Curtain Road, London.

There is no doubt Kagoule are one of the country’s most exciting new bands. Having released their much anticipated debut album ‘Urth’ in August last year to huge critical acclaim, they have been ripping it up on the live circuit, gaining fans far and wide.

Demob Happy released their debut album ‘Dream Soda’ in October 2015 through SO Recordings and immediately set about taking over the airwaves of BBC 6 Music. They join Kagoule for the second Curtain Call gig of the year, which follows the first last month, with Birdskulls, Johnny Foreigner and Gang performing.

Kagoule & Demob Happy play The Old Blue Last on 23rd February. Tickets are on sale exclusively from Ticketweb, so get your hands on them quick. The show is 18+ and ticket holders will be required to bring ID. Stay tuned for more info and keep up to date on all of the action using #CurtainCall2016.
