Sounds Australia, Australia’s music export initiative, has announces the full line-ups for their annual Aussie BBQ and Sound Gallery showcases at Canadian Music Week 2016. Following the country’s festival spotlight in 2015, The Aussie BBQ and Sound Gallery are slated to return this year with another impressive lineup of unmissable Australian talent.
The Sound Gallery showcase will feature ten of the best up-and-coming Australian singer-songwriters at The Supermarket from 7:00pm-2:00am on May 6th. Promising to be one of the highlights of CMW 2016, Sound Gallery will see performances from Demi Louise, Woodes, HOWQUA and more.
The world famous Aussie BBQ is produced around the globe, including Austin for SXSW, New York for CMJ, Los Angeles, Brighton for The Great Escape Festival, London, Liverpool and of course Toronto for Canadian Music Week. The showcase returns to the iconic Horseshoe Tavern May 7th from 12:00pm-6:00pm and will feature some of Australia’s most buzzed about acts including Timberwolf, Russell Morris, The Dead Love and more. The barbecue will be sparked up as music fans and industry gather to witness some of Australia’s finest home grown artists.
