Revival Season turn up the heat with ‘Full Frontal’ video + ‘Formless’ Mixtape

Revival Season are back in full force, and they’ve just unleashed a high-voltage video for Full Frontal, one of the standout tracks from their latest EP ‘Formless,’ out now via Heavenly Recordings.

Directed by Zach Wolfe and Trent Wayne, the video is pure Southern chaos in the best way—neon-lit, unpredictable, and full of Atlanta flavour. Trent Wayne calls it “a true community celebration,” bringing together some of ATL’s freshest creatives and legends alike. “It felt like blowing up a party balloon to the brink,” he says. “Colourful, full of tension, and ready to pop with joy.” Safe to say, mission accomplished.

And the track itself? Full Frontal is a wild ride—rowdy, rhythmic, and undeniably fun. It’s the final punch on a five-track mixtape that doesn’t waste a second. From the distorted swagger of Slick Rick to the grimy, late-night haze of Doobie Ashes, ‘Formless’ is all heat, no filler. This thing goes hard.

Revival Season—the brainchild of producer Jonah Swilley (Mattiel, Night Beats) and razor-sharp rapper Brandon ‘Bez’ Evans—have been carving out a space entirely their own. Equal parts Georgia G-funk and busted-speaker garage rap, they first grabbed ears in 2022 and haven’t let go since.

‘Formless’ follows a string of releases including the politically charged White House Black and Dim Sum, plus their 2024 debut album ‘Golden Age of Self Snitching,’ which earned major props from Consequence (#9 on their Best Rap Albums list, with Barry White landing at #67 in their top 200 songs), BrooklynVegan, CLASH, and CABBAGES. Safe to say the buzz is real.
