Ready for a fresh blast of electro-punk fire? The Bloody Beetroots—aka Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo, often hailed as “The Baddest Man In Electronic Music”—is back with a brand-new collaboration called NUMB, featuring none other than UK punk rock rebels Tokky Horror.
This track is part of The Bloody Beetroots’ ongoing ‘Forever’ series, and NUMB joins a killer lineup that includes This Is Blood (with N8NOFACE and Teddy Killerz) and Killing Punk (featuring Bob Vylan). Rifo describes the new collab like this: “Tokky Horror broke the frame. A new voice in music, loud and unfiltered. The Bloody Beetroots picked up the torch — one final track, together.” It’s raw, loud, and totally unfiltered — exactly what you want from a punk-infused electronic powerhouse.

For anyone who’s followed The Bloody Beetroots from the start, this journey has been one hell of a ride. Rifo launched this project back in 2006, inspired by his punk rock roots and a love for comics, merging classical music training with explosive electronic beats. The debut album ‘Romborama’ (2009) rocked the scene with the iconic ‘Warp 1.9’ alongside Steve Aoki, helping fuel the American EDM surge. Then came ‘Hide’ in 2013, blending rock legends like Paul McCartney and Tommy Lee into the mix. By 2017’s ‘The Great Electronic Swindle,’ Rifo kept pushing boundaries, collaborating with Perry Farrell, Jet, Gallows, and more.
Fast forward to recent years, and The Bloody Beetroots continue evolving. The ‘Heavy’ EP in 2019 paired Rifo with Zhu and Dr. Fresch, and the 2021 ‘Catastrophists’ EP saw a powerhouse team-up with Tom Morello. Not just confined to albums and live shows, their music also powers major video games like MXGP Pro, Madden NFL, FIFA, and Need for Speed, plus commercials for brands like BMW and Ducati.
If you haven’t yet experienced a Bloody Beetroots show live, it’s a full-throttle audiovisual assault — the perfect fusion of punk attitude and electronic energy, played out on stages from Coachella to Lollapalooza and Primavera.
Behind this electrifying project is Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo, a guy who’s never been afraid to break the mold. The Bloody Beetroots is where his classical background meets his punk obsession and electronic passion, resulting in a sound that’s equal parts edgy rock and dancefloor dynamite.
And shoutout to Out Of Line Music, the Berlin-based indie label that’s been championing cutting-edge artists like Rifo since 1995. They’re the perfect home for boundary-pushers and rule-breakers, and The Bloody Beetroots fit right in.
