If you weren’t already paying attention to Massive Ego, consider this your wake-up call.
The UK darkwave legends just dropped Broken Tomorrow (ACTORS Remix) — a slick, shadowy reimagining of their already stunning collab with Boy George, and honestly? It hits different. Out now via Out Of Line Music and accompanied by a brand new video, this one’s built for the club but made to crawl under your skin.

The original Broken Tomorrow was already a big deal — a gothic, emotionally raw track that finally united frontman Marc Massive and Boy George on record after decades of friendship. Yeah, decades. Now, rising darkwave electro-rock act ACTORS have taken the track somewhere even darker, stripping it back and rebuilding it into something hypnotic and dancefloor-ready, while keeping all that emotional gut-punch intact. It’s the kind of remix that earns its existence.
But here’s the real news: this is the last single before Massive Ego’s long-awaited album ‘Symphony Of Flies,’ dropping May 8, 2026.
Thirty years into their career, the band isn’t slowing down — they’re levelling up. ‘Symphony Of Flies’ is being described as one of their most personal and defiant works yet, ten tracks that drag you through collapse, survival, recovery and transformation, blending darkwave, EBM, glam, electronic rock and confrontational pop into something that sounds like a battle cry wrapped in black velvet. The album also lines up perfectly with their appearance at the Out Of Line Weekender in Berlin that same weekend — a full-circle moment for a band who’ve never really left the shadows.
Oh, and vinyl fans — this one’s for you. ‘Symphony Of Flies’ marks the first-ever Massive Ego vinyl release, available as a limited red LP alongside a digipak CD.
