Sheffield after dark: Jarvis Cocker remixes Baxter Dury’s ‘Allbarone’

The duo drag Allbarone through the industrial backstreets of the city after dark, dropping in a mercury-heavy bassline and layering up a pair of sliced vocals that bubble and writhe against each other until the whole thing starts to feel like liquid acid. It’s exactly the kind of remix that earns its existence — not just a tweak, but a genuine transformation.
