Laughed The Boy releases new single ‘Indifferent’

Laughed The Boy

Laughed The Boy has released Indifferent, which is the first track on the band’s upcoming full length album scheduled to be released by the end of the year. It’s one of the first songs they started playing as a full band and really captures the garage-minimalist sound that’s expected on the album. Even though it sounds bright and bouncy in melody, the song is a personal reflection on disenchantment in young adulthood. Take a listen to Indifferent below.

Laughed the Boy began as an outlet for honest and unpretentious 90s nostalgia inspired songs. Indifferent definitely gives off the early Weezer / Pavement vibe, which is totally cool with us. After writing loads of songs, Chris brought his bedroom project to life when he went into the studio with his brother Sean to record their EP ‘Out of the Blue.’

They then added friend and bass player Brennan to the lineup and began playing the songs live. While rehearsing for shows, we ended up writing an album’s worth of fresh material and headed into the studio once again to record 9 new tracks that will make up our debut full length LP scheduled to be released by the end of 2016.
