Brooklyn-based studio Room 17 has launched a new web series called bombz tv, with the goal of offering an intimate, behind-the-scenes peek into the local music community and various projects that are tied to the underground studio.
Produced by Joe Rogers and Aaron C. Peer, its laid-back style is reminiscent of MTV’s classic 120-minutes, with footage ranging from clips of various artists jamming in the studio to sound checks at NYC venues.
Season One of the series (episodes 1-8) features Delicate Steve, Pretengineer (Shaun Sutkus of Perfect Pussy), Ali Donohue (Perfect Pussy, Fleabite), Spirit Family Reunion, Alexander F (Rubblebucket, Celestial Shores, Skaters), The Shivers, Debbie Downer, Jadon, and Dr Doppler, and is currently available to watch on YouTube.
