Dead Leaf Echo share new single ‘Sunlessoul’

Dead Leaf Echo

Dead Leaf EchoBrooklyn’s Dead Leaf Echo will release its sophomore LP, ‘Beyond.Desire,’ this Friday (10/13) via PaperCup Music. A dark, shimmering mix of shoegaze and layered guitar pop, it was recorded with legendary My Bloody Valentine engineer Guy Fixsen and Jorge Elbreht (Ariel Pink, No Joy). The album has clear 4AD influences, but finds Dead Leaf Echo pushing boundaries and forging their own sound while still embracing their idols.

Now, the band have shared another preview of their upcoming release with Sunlessoul, which pairs upbeat melodies with lyrics about loneliness and some of the darker parts of the human condition. You can listen to the track via Soundcloud below.
