Toronto Urban Roots Fest (TURF) is back at Fort York Garrison Common Historical Site on September 16th-18th. The festival has just announced that Pennsylvania’s Ween will now be headlining Saturday and Modern Baseball joins Friday’s line-up for 2016, and you can check out the daily schedule here.  More artists will be announced soon. TURF was recently nominated for two awards in the first ever Canadian Live Music Awards, both for Medium Festival of the Year, and New Kid on the Block, alongside the Winnipeg Folk FestivalInterstellar Rodeo, Field Trip, and Way Home.
 
The nominations came on the heels of being the only Canadian festival this year nominated by the prestigious Pollstar Awards in the category of North American Festival of the Year alongside The Newport Folk Fest and San Francisco‘s Treasure Island
