Legendary shoegazers Ride have released a couple new tracks over the past month, but now they’ve announced the details of their forthcoming album. ‘Weather Diaries’ is their first album in 20 years and will be out on June 16 via Wichita.
To go along with the announcement, they’ve shared the music video for their single Charm Assault. The clip was directed by directed by Anton Newcombe (from The Brian Jonestown Massacre) and Jean de Oliveira. Watch it via YouTube below.
The record was mixed by Alan Moulder (who also mixed ‘Nowhere‘ and produced ‘Going Blank Again‘) and produced by DJ Erol Alkan. It also features the previously released single Home Is a Feeling. The album will be available on translucent red vinyl, and signed merch bundles will also be available.
