Fresh off the back of their latest EP I Know It’s Nothing, the Hull post-punk collective have moved fast to release a brash and bold song which portrays the plight of a modern couple seeing the world crumble around them in 2017. It’s an apocalyptic world described in La Bête Blooms’ new single Lost and Found, which is out now. Take a listen to the track via Soundcloud below.
From shoegazey beginnings to their grunge and fuzz EP release earlier this year, ‘Lost and Found’ is the band’s most polished and upfront work to date. A blast of noise which is over in two and a half minutes, the DIY band from the North of England describe a pair of typical twenty-somethings who ignore the fatal signs that result in the end of the world.
Released the day after a divisive UK election, perhaps La Bête Blooms imaginary apocalypse could become too real for comfort.
Lost and Found is now available on Spotify & iTunes, released via The Adult Teeth Recording Company.
