New Zealand punks The Cavemen will release their third full-length album, ‘Nuke Earth,’ on April 6th via Slovenly Recordings. Like the band’s past releases, it features a mix of rowdy punk and raw, scuzzy garage rock, made up of frantic vocals, screeching guitars, and infectious riffs.
The album’s thirteen tracks are high-energy, fast-paced, and ferocious, and new single Janey is one of its catchiest cuts, packing plenty of sing-along melodies into just two-and-a-half minutes. You can take a listen to the track via SoundCloud below.
The Cavemen – Paul Caveman (vocals), Jack Caveman (guitar, vocals), Nick Caveman (bass), and Jake Caveman (drums) – are currently based in London, where they’ve hitting the European club scene with their manic live show and wild antics. They just kicked off a worldwide tour in support of their upcoming release, which includes the band’s first-ever US shows and a performance at Slovenly’s Debauch-A-Reno festival next month (with The Mummies, The Spits, Oblivians, and more.)
