Bikini Kill are back — loud, fearless, and very much necessary.
The legendary feminist punk pioneers have just announced a 2026 North American tour, kicking off September 6 in Portland and rolling through major cities including Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and New York. Before the fall run even begins, West Coast fans can catch the band this summer when they headline Mosswood Meltdown in Oakland on July 19.

Since reuniting in 2019 for their first full shows since 1997, Bikini Kill have been playing to sold-out rooms worldwide — and proving that their message hits just as hard now as it did in the early ’90s. With Kathleen Hanna on vocals, Tobi Vail on drums, Kathi Wilcox on bass, and Sara Landeau on guitar, the band’s live show is a force: raw, confrontational, and completely electrifying.
As The New York Times put it, Hanna is “one of the great front-people of all time,” powered by a rhythm section that pushes her voice into something “primal and undeniable.” Pitchfork has called Bikini Kill’s protest songs “more vital than ever,” while Rolling Stone famously dubbed “Rebel Girl” “perhaps the greatest feminist punk anthem of all time.” No notes.
