Things are about to get loud, cathartic, and very real. Home Front have announced a stacked run of North American tour dates, hitting the East Coast, Midwest, and beyond, with select shows alongside Angel Du$t, Beton Arme, and Odd Man Out, plus a full headlining stretch supported by Bootlicker.
The tour comes in support of ‘Watch It Die,’ the band’s latest full-length—an album that didn’t just land, it stuck. Released via La Vida Es Un Mus Discos, the record has earned serious love across the board, including Album of the Week nods from Stereogum and Treble, plus cover stories with New Noise Magazine and Upset.
Onstage, Home Front bring ‘Watch It Die’ to life with a lineup that feels fully locked in: Brandi Strauss (bass), Ian Rowley (guitar), and Warren Oostlander (drums) join founding members and primary songwriters Graeme MacKinnon (vocals) and Clint Frazier (keys). The result? All-inclusive, genre-blurring shows that feel just as much like a communal release as they do a punk gig. These are the kinds of sets people talk about long after the lights come up.
Formed in 2020, MacKinnon and Frazier built Home Front from the ground up, deeply rooted in DIY ethics, community-building, and lived experience. Their music pulls from everywhere—cold synth lines that feel cinematic, pounding rhythms built for packed floors, and lyrics that don’t flinch. ‘Watch It Die’ was crafted through remote collaboration and home-studio recording in Edmonton, Alberta, giving the album a raw honesty that cuts through every track.
At its core, ‘Watch It Die’ is 12 songs of movement and meaning—danceable, anthemic, and deeply human. Where earlier releases ‘Think of the Lie’ (2021) and ‘Games of Power’ (2023) captured isolation and exhaustion, this record feels like a step forward. It doesn’t deny the weight of the world, but it refuses to be crushed by it. There’s grief here, anger too—but also reflection, resilience, and a hard-earned sense of hope.
Home Front describe the album as a response to a deeply transformative time, both personally and globally. Their stance is clear and uncompromising: anti-war, anti-genocide, pro-peace, and firmly rooted in solidarity with oppressed communities, including the people of Palestine and Indigenous communities across Canada. More than anything, ‘Watch It Die’ is about carving out space—for grief, for honesty, and for rebuilding something better together.
