Brighton punk duo Lambrini GirlsPhoebe Lunny (vocals/guitar) and Selin Macieira (bass) — are back with their new single Cult of Celebrity, and it hits like a freight train with something to say. From the very first guitar lick, this thing is a relentless, thrashing takedown of the global elite and the dark, twisted machinery that keeps them in power. No punches pulled. None.

The band put it best themselves: “The age old tale of selling your soul to the devil has been fabled accounts of high society for years. However due to recent events come to light — it turns out that the elite are very much actually, the devil incarnate, baby eating, pedos. What a fucking surprise! They had no souls to sell in the first place.

“The old world is dying and the new world struggles to be born: now is the time of monsters.” — Antonio Gramsci (courtesy of Lambrini Girls)

The single comes with a music video helmed by London-based filmmaker Harv Frost, who’s also worked with The Last Dinner Party and Laufey. Listen to Cult of Celebrity HERE.

Taking It Global

If you haven’t caught Lambrini Girls live yet, 2026 is your year — and honestly, you’re running out of excuses. The duo are rolling out a massive run of festival dates that reads like a bucket list of the world’s best stages: Coachella, Bonnaroo, Warped Tour, Primavera Sound, Way Out West, 2000 Trees, Dot To Dot, Boardmasters, Bearded Theory, and a whole lot more. Several North American headline dates are already SOLD OUT, so move fast on whatever’s left.

This is a band that earned their live reputation the hard way. Their 2025 debut album ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’ tore through the rock world with raw charisma, barbed humour, and combustible shredding — landing them covers of Kerrang!, NOTION, Paste, and New Noise, while Variety called it a “sleekly-produced firestorm of an album.” They’ve got the seal of approval from Kathleen Hanna, Iggy Pop, and Sleater-Kinney, and shared stages with IDLES, Amyl & The Sniffers, and more. The hype is real — and earned.
