Southern California’s shape-shifting punk outfit Integra Pink continue their rapid evolution with the release of their new single CURBSTOMP, out now via Futureless. Arriving on the heels of Spiderman Piñata—which has been in heavy rotation on Los Angeles tastemaker station KCRW—the track signals another sharp turn for a band that thrives on unpredictability.

Where Spiderman Piñata blurred cumbia, disco, and punk into a kaleidoscopic swirl, CURBSTOMP locks into a tighter, more rhythm-forward groove—urgent, kinetic, and built to move while pushing the band further outside any one lane.

Vocalist/guitarist Leo Mendez puts it plainly: “CURBSTOMP is a song that takes inspiration from places we haven’t necessarily tapped into yet. I think we’re constantly trying to create out of our comfort zone and this definitely differs from what we’ve been putting out.”

And on the song’s heavier undercurrent: “At its core it’s a song that talks about violence—what violence is, who perpetuates it, the dynamics of it. I think it’s important to understand that violence comes in many forms. I also see it as a warning that if we do not take the time to understand it and resist it, we eventually fall victim to it.”

Formed in Southern California, Integra Pink—Leo Mendez (vocals/guitar), Bardo Mendez (vocals/guitar), Nick Jauregui (drums), and Roman De La Fuente (bass)—have built their rep on constant reinvention. Pulling from punk, rock, new wave, and Latin influences, every release is its own experiment. Their DIY visual series PinkTv keeps that same restless energy documented through a raw, VHS-filtered lens.

A new EP is on the horizon via Futureless, with more music expected in the coming months. CURBSTOMP is out now—stream it below.
