‘Raiders!: The Story of the Greatest Fan Film Ever Made’ tells the story of Chris Strompolos and Eric Zala, two childhood friends who, in 1981, were inspired to create their own version of Spielberg’s ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’. Over the course of the next seven years, they completed their project, save for one literally explosive scene. The cast and crew reunited three decades later to film the missing piece, and Raiders! is their story. Watch the trailer via YouTube below.
In anticipation of the film’s 6/17 release in North American theaters and On Demand platforms worldwide, Strompolos and Zala are embarking on a multi-city tour of special advance screenings of Raiders!, alongside their rarely-presented Adaptation and participating in Q&As, so you can hear tales of youthful ingenuity and indiscretion firsthand.
