The Tiny Record Shop has announced that Preoccupations will be performing at the store on Friday, September 16th at 7:00 pm. The band release their new self-titled album the same day via Flemish Eye, which is also Tiny Record Shop’s Album of the Month. Entry to the in-store is free with a non-perishable donation to Covenant House Toronto.
This exclusive appearance kicks off a massive international tour in support of Preoccupations, including a return to Toronto on October 8th for a show at the Danforth Music Hall.
‘Preoccupations’ is already being hailed as one of the best releases of 2016. Line Of Best Fit named it their Album of the Week writing “Preoccupations’ greatest asset is in its breadth of ability; spontaneous, yet considered; off-kilter, but instinctive; eccentric, although well composed” while Uncut Magazine gave it an 8/10 saying “…the songs benefit from sharper focus than the quartet ever achieved before”.
