Trentemøller shares video for single featuring Jehnny Beth of Savages

Trentemøller

Last month, Trentemøller announced his fifth studio album, ‘Fixion,’ due for release on September 16th via his In My Room label. Now, he has released the first single and video for “River in Me from the album,” which features Jehnny Beth of Savages on vocals.

The video is a project of RITON EMENIUS – a new cross-disciplinary collaboration between Swedish director Åsa Riton and Swedish artist Andreas Emenius. Shot in northern Sweden, “River in Me” captures an uncanny love story between two girls in a bleak winterland scape.

RITON EMENIUS are responsible for Fixion’’s artwork as well as two upcoming videos.

The “River in Me” single, features a Trentemøller rework on its B-side can be purchased here – trentemoller.lnk.to/RiverInMe. Fixion can be pre-ordered here – trentemoller.lnk.to/Fixion

Trentemøller will also be playing shows stateside this Fall.. He plays NYC’’s Le Poisson Rouge on September 26th and LA’’s Hollywood Forever Cemetery on September 28th (SOLD OUT) and September 29th.

‘Fixion’ is a logical successor to 2013’’s ‘Lost,’ which managed to truly capture the visceral live experience of Trentemøller as a full-band. ‘Fixion’ has matured the Danish artist’’s trademark melancholy and made it atmospheric and darkly romantic.
