Brooklyn-based Lost Boy ? have premiered the third single, Hemorrhage, which is lifted from their upcoming album ‘Canned’ due out March 31 via PaperCup Music. The track shows a different side to Lost Boy ?, backed by a heavy bass line, and Fall-esque lyricism, with guest vocals from Luke Chiaruttini of Bueno. Take a listen via Soundcloud below.
‘Canned’ is the follow up to 2014’s ‘Wasted EP,’ released via Exploding In Sound, and marks the first Lost Boy ? full-length album recorded as a band. Lost Boy ? are songwriter Davey Jones (guitar/vocals), with Ryan Foster (guitar), RJ Gordon (bass) and Matt Gaffney (drums).Pre-order ‘Canned’ on 12″ vinyl or via iTunes.
Lost Boy ? began by Jones as a 4-track, bedroom, experimental pop recording project, on Long Island, self-releasing a number of LPs, EPs and singles the past half-dozen years. Since it’s inception, Jones, backed by a number of different musicians, have played countless shows with the likes of DIIV, Celestial Shore, Daniel Johnston, R. Stevie Moore, The So So Glos, Skaters, Mr. Twin Sister, Purling Hiss, and most recently completed a national tour supporting Titus Andronicus.
Lost Boy ? will be heading to Austin, Texas for this year’s SXSW Music Conference, with details and tour dates to be announcing shortly.
