Frequency Response is a three-part feature series in which artists are exposed to a stimulus – history, art, video – and respond with a piece of music. The result is a selection of beautifully crafted tracks from artists including Modeselektor, Forest Swords and Laurel Halo.
The series will visit Teufelsberg, a former US spy station in West Berlin, Carsten Höller’s Decision exhibition at the Hayward Gallery in London, and finish up with a video piece from the multimedia artist Daniel Swan.
In this next feature, Frequency Response: Art, Daniel Avery, Felicita and Forest Swords explore the sensory stimulation of Carsten Höller’s Decision exhibition at the Hayward Gallery in London.

“The launch of the TMA-2 headphones has seen us create a modular product that is more creatively versatile than ever before. We wanted to work on a project with RA that really challenged artists to push the boundaries of their creative process and the way they thought about creating a piece of music. It’s insights like these that drive our product evolution and enable us to meet the cross-purpose needs of the modern electronic artist.” – Frederik Jorgensen, Co-Founder, AIAIAI
“Many artist’s thrive off the opportunity to make music that exists outside of the dance floor. Frequency Response was designed to allow artist’s that freedom whilst building parameters around stimuli we thought would make for an original feature series.” – Nick Sabine, Co-Founder, RA
