Montreal’s sample-based electronic-psych trio, Technical Kidman, have released their latest self-released LP ‘Something Stranger Coming on the Horizon’. The album finds the trio exploring the vintage soundscapes of vintage 80s and 90s TV advertisements and fuzzy VHS aesthetics. ‘Something Stranger Coming on the Horizon’ was recorded in Montreal by Technical Kidman, Alexis Aubin-Marchand and François Zaidan at Studio Cadillac. It was mixed by Jace Lasek (Suuns, Wolf Parade, Besnard Lakes) at Breakglass Studio in Montreal and mastered by Ryan Morey at Greymarket Mastering in Montreal.
Technical Kidman is on the road in support of their release, you can catch the trio as they travel throughout Canada hitting events ‘Debaser Presents‘ and ‘Endless Bummer Festival’ and playing New York to finish off the tour.
