After finishing up a North American and European tour with labelmate DIIV, Chastity has announced the live addition version of his critically acclaimed 2019 record, ‘Home Made Satan,’ out April 10 via Dine Alone Records and Captured Tracks. Chastity has shared the first single Cry High (Live at Whitby Courthouse Theatre). Watch the video clip for the track via YouTube below.
On Cry High, Brandon Williams aka Chastity says, “I was reading about opioids that our brains already come with, and the feeling of being high after we cry sometimes. I don’t think I know how to pronounce this right, but when we cry I guess we release leucine-enkephalin, which helps reduce our pain. This song’s about that. It’s new, and this was my first time playing it live, with the help of my friends and a string quartet in Whitby in January.”
