Minneapolis five-piece she’s green have announced their new EP, ‘Swallowtail,’ due July 10, 2026 via Photo Finish Records. To mark the announcement, the band is sharing new single paper thin alongside an official music video — a gauzy, emotionally charged piece that pulls at the fraying edges of love and lust as they bleed into one another.

The track does exactly what she’s green do best: builds fragile tension out of reverberation and restraint, with Zofia Smith’s melancholy vocals hovering above guitars that feel like they’re always one strum away from dissolving entirely. It’s gorgeous and gutting in equal measure.

‘paper thin’ explores the power of lust in a dying relationship: how it can be confused for love when in reality, the relationship has already faded.” — Zofia Smith

‘Swallowtail’ follows last year’s ’Chrysalis’ — a five-song project that deepened the band’s reputation for shimmering, fuzzed-out dream pop and earned them admirers at The FADER, PAPER Magazine, Stereogum, and beyond. The new EP, which was recorded at the close of 2025, is set to form the second half of a full-length alongside ‘Chrysalis,’ meaning the picture she’s green have been painting is getting a lot bigger.

Earlier this year, the band shared mettle — a thunderous, reverb-soaked ripper that channeled collective anxiety into something galvanizing — and kicked off 2026 with a completely sold-out debut headlining run in China. Their first KEXP session followed, previewing the new EP in a performance that DJ Cheryl Waters called “absolutely beautiful.” Both NME and Alternative Press have since named the band a ‘Band to Watch,’ with AP noting: “their music sits in a sort of dichotomy — carving out a space that feels both fragile and self-assured.”
