Axxa/Abraxas premiere new track + announce self-titled debut

Axxa/Abraxas, the musical moniker of 23 year-old Atlanta native Ben Asbury, will be releasing his self-titled debut on March 4th via Captured Tracks. The first single from the album is On the Run – take a listen below via Soundcloud.

Axxas/Abraxas is the music and art project of 23 year-old Atlanta native Ben Asbury. The tracks that make up ‘Axxas/Abraxas’ were written and demo’ed around the time Ben was in college, where he was studying psychology, religion and sociology. While studying, he founded the RTA Collective (on which he released his cassettes with his visual art) and concurrently developed a fascination with the analog synth, the final linchpin in what would be the sound of Axxas/Abraxas.
