Frail Body share new single ‘Your Death Makes Me Wish Heaven Was Real’

Continuing to share more from their explosive forthcoming LP ‘A Brief Memoriam,’ Frail Body have shared a video for their new single Your Death Makes Me Wish Heaven Was Real. True to form, the new single from the Rockford, IL, trio embodies the heart and soul of what many define as true-blue “screamo.”  Their latest single is powerful and unhinged and is a moving song of mourning and remembrance. You can check out the video for the track, shot and edited by Dave Cullen with the concept and story by Lowell Shaffer via YouTube below.

Combining a four-song recording session with their rightfully hailed ‘At Peace’ session into a single collection of tracks, ‘A Brief Memorium’ finds Frail Body in the midst of an indisputable fever pitch. Exploring topical themes like about nihilism, death, anxiety, and existentialism through emotionally and sonically threshing songs, the album is equal parts ground-shaking and heartbreaking. ‘A Brief Memoriam’ is an piquant introduction to Frail Body, with this kinetic and cathartic 7-song LP is a necessary addition to any collection. Album opener Pastel erupts with unhinged emotion driven by discordant guitars and hyper-speed drumming. Aperture then explores concepts of identity and growth amid a tangle of beautiful musical debris, while Tradition In Verses defies categorization and description.
