Following the release of last year’s ‘Slush’ EP and the standalone single Chest, Toronto four-piece FRIGS have shared Doghead. It’s first track to emerge from the band’s debut album due for release in early 2018 via Arts & Crafts. Take a listen via YouTube below.
Of the track, the band says “Doghead was inspired by a charcter in Nick Cave’s And the Ass Saw the Angel, using partial dialogue directly from the novel. Themes in the song include how lustful behaviors and jealousy play into a desire for power.”
Doghead is shared as the band embark on a UK/EU tour supporting Wolf Parade. All dates, including a London headline show, are listed below.
