Northern Italy’s Bee Bee Sea has released its sophomore LP, ‘Sonic Boomerang,’ via Dirty Water Records USA (digital, cassette) and Wild Honey Records (vinyl). A high-energy, fuzzed-out mix of garage and psych, it’s full of chugging guitars, frenetic drums, and punk-infused shouts that have earned the band comparisons to everyone from Thee Oh Sees and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard to The Cramps and Can. The full album is streaming now via Spotify.

Though they’ve flown under the radar outside of Italy, Bee Bee Sea has made a name for itself locally, sharing stages with acts like Thee Oh Sees, Night Beats, Black Lips, and King Khan & the Shrines and having songs featured in commercials for Fiat, DC Skateboarding, and more.
