If your ears have been craving something that feels like getting lost in a fog of reverb while a bassline grabs you by the collar, Los Angeles high desert outfit BED just delivered exactly that. The band has released the remastered single From Above alongside the long-awaited vinyl reissue of their debut full-length ‘Bed’s Self Titled’ — both out now via Quiet Panic.

“Bed bring back lots of late 80s/early 90s vibes …Cure-esque basslines collide with the layers of My Bloody Valentine.” — Real Gone
The Record
Originally dropped in 2022, ‘Bed’s Self Titled’ was BED’s first full-length statement — a 12-song deep dive into the band’s signature blend of alternative rock melody, shoegaze atmosphere, and post-hardcore urgency. This new pressing marks the first time the album has ever hit wax, and they’re doing it right: limited opaque white with pink splatter. Yeah, it’s going to look as good on your shelf as it sounds on your turntable.

The remastered From Above — one of the album’s standout cuts — was recorded with Alex Estrada (Joyce Manor, Touché Amoré, NAILS, Xibalba) at Pale Moon Ranch and mixed by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Gouge Away, Loma Prieta) at Atomic Garden. The production pedigree alone tells you this thing hits different.

The Band
BED started as a solo project from founder Ebed “bed” Moreno Leon before growing into a full band forged through DIY shows and relentless time on the road. Drawing from the well of ’80s and ’90s alternative rock and post-punk — think Title Fight, Smashing Pumpkins, Joyce Manor, Nothing, Basement, Anxious, Blink-182 — they’ve built a sound that’s raw and melodic all at once. Reflective, but with urgency. Hazy, but with teeth.
BED is:
Ebed “bed” Moreno Leon — founder, vox, guitar
Kenneth Bonifacio — bass
Joseph Nixon — drums
Alberto Lopez — guitar
