Arm Candy release new album

Arm Candy

Tye Die Tapes have released their brand new cassette by the Brooklyn-based pop punk outfit, Arm Candy featuring artwork by weird Twitter celebrity @leyawn. The cassette was released on Monday June 8 and is a limited edition of 100 cassettes – order it here.

Arm Candy took shape in 2013 with Nathan on guitar, Kate on bass, and Carey on drums. In 2014 they released a ‘The Right to Bear Arm Candy,’ a 7-song demo recorded by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studios in Leverett, MA. This winter, they recorded their debut album with Kyle Gilbride on Long Island and in Philadelphia. The nine-track album takes cues from classic punk and pop artists like Minutemen, Rose Melberg, and Joanna Gruesome. They write songs about living in a dangerous capitalist society, dealing with feelings of affection and the opposite, & trying to dream about a utopian future. Jonah L. recently joined the band to play drums live, and the band will be touring the Northeast US this summer. Tour dates are listed below:
