Critics have thrown around comparisons to John Waters, Paul Bartel, and David Lynch — which honestly tells you everything you need to know. The man doesn’t make safe movies. He makes memorable ones. The practical effects come courtesy of Marcus Koch, who’s worked on over 100 films. So yeah, expect the blood to look good.
